Took the relay off my daughter's little quad an put it on my son's same situation the little relay clicks only any suggestions what may be wrong or where to start. Cross out the relay terminals with a screw driver and see if the starter runs. If you do then you know your ignition is working. If you do have a spark then pour some gas down the cylander and put back plug and see if it fires.

It should pressurize the fuel system on the first turn of the key to on. From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. Put a little fuel starter in inlet to carb (remove air cleaner, spray a few seconds, place filter back on then try starting). Even if the engine is shot, it should start, it'll either sound ok or will make loud banging sounds. Best of luck, I give it 50/50 odds, could be ok. Don't give up yet.
